HI FRIENDS!! My name is Waterfall. Didn't mean to shout - I just wanted to get your attention so that I can tell my story. It's pretty incredible.

I was welcomed into the King Street Cats family under some extraordinary circumstances. I was found in a ditch after a terribly severe car accident. The animal control officer thought I was worth saving. The emergency veterinarian thought I was worth saving. The folks at the big city shelter where I was taken thought I was worth saving, and they saved me. However, they couldn't give me the specialized care I'd need to recover.

My left eye was damaged beyond repair in the car accident and was removed. Part of my jaw had to be wired and my palate needed stitching. My tongue was torn; it was sewn up expertly and fixed. One of my teeth was shattered and removed. I had been lying injured and unable to move for some time and (you may want to cover your ears) some nasty bugs had taken up residence and were taking advantage of me. I may have had a concussion, and I developed infections. I was a very sick and sad Waterfall. 

A tube was inserted to give me nourishment and medicine. The nice city shelter folks knew just who to call to turn my precious life around: King Street Cats. King Street Cats thought my life was worth saving - and after the love and attention of my wonderful, very experienced KSC foster family here I am! I'm a happy, loving and truly amazing boy and I'm ready for my very own forever home. Now I know that there are miracles. Could YOU be my next miracle?

My foster mom absolutely loves me and says I'll bring my forever family so much happiness! She says I have a big purrsonality, a joyful spirit and a gentle soul. I'm not sure what all those nice words mean but they seem to make her hug me a lot - and I love it! I love to be held so I can snuggle up really close and rub faces with my foster mom. Will you hold me so we can snuggle? Sleeping on the bed with my foster mom is wonderful - I'm dreaming of my own purrson who'll want a sleepytime buddy on the bed too. 

Despite what I've been through I am a happy young boy! I love to follow my foster mom around the house and I want to keep you company like this as well. I am a conversational boy and like to tell her lots of stories as the day goes on. I'm so happy to be with a loving human and so happy to be alive that I sing a lot when I run around the house!

There are other cats here in my foster home and I like them. I'm particularly fond of my foster sister - it would be another miracle if I found a forever purrson with room in his or her heart and home to adopt us both so we could still enjoy each other. Please ask when you inquire about me if this might be the case for you. I don't like to be completely alone - I hope you'll understand - so having a companion kitty would be very beneficial for me. (I must admit that I am scared by and not like loud noises and dogs) 

I'm a young and handsome little man! I have silky, fine silvery fur and you'll love snuggling and petting me.
