PLAYFUL, AFFECTIONATE SWEETHEART HAS CHARMED THE KING STREET CATS STAFF!

Hello friends! My name is Odie. You might remember Odie - the hapless canine friend of cartoon cat Garfield? That's my name, but I'm not hapless and I'm not a canine. I AM, however, everything you could want in a loving family boy. I'm so happy to be part of the KSC family now - I'm enjoying all of my new friends, four legged and two legged. They're enjoying me too!

I came to KSC from the Anne Arundel Country Animal Control. I was much loved by the staff there - so much so that they still check up on me. That makes me very happy! When I arrived, I weighed over 20 pounds. That weight was not healthy for me. My dedicated AACAC friends started to help me lose weight slowly and safely. My KSC friends continue this important effort.

I'll need a forever home where my special purrson(s) will commit to helping me continue to eat a very healthy high quality diet of grain-free high protein food - very preferably wet food because it's so much healthier for me. Other than that, I don't have any demands to make other than that you be ready for us to fall in love and enjoy each others' company every single day!

I love to play. I love people. I love kitties. Everyone who meets me can't help but like me. If you visit the King Street Cats Facebook page and scroll through the months of August and September, you will see several "fan photos" of me posted by my volunteer friends. These photos are accompanied by loving comments from friends who sing my praises. In one photo you can even see me traveling (very stylishly!) to be a KSC ambassador at a Wags & Whiskers because I like to meet people. Other photos show me relaxing and enjoying some human companionship. Oh, and let's not forget my classic yoga poses!

I'm seven (7) years old, which cat lovers know means nothing in cat terms. I am a well-behaved, affectionate, happy boy who loves life and enjoys each day. I'm dreaming of a forever home where my purrson or people will shower me with affection and soak up the love I have to give. I'd enjoy a nice kitty friend or two.
