Hello friends, my name is Monkey! The "also known as Bud" refers to the fact that when I was initially adopted from King Street Cats, my name was "Bud." My family was unable to keep me due to economic circumstances, so they brought me back to King Street Cats so I can find a new forever home.

I have short, plush fur in a solid smokey grey color that makes me extremely handsome and a bit exotic looking! My nose is a color-coorindated cahrcoal grey and I have bright green eyes to complete the stylish look. Everyone's best guess is that I was born around 2006, so that makes me almost right years old as of this posting in June 2014. 

I am a very laid back boy looking for quiet companionship. When I meet a nice, quiet cat-loving human, I like to follow this person around to see what they're doing. If you'll show me what you're up to and perhaps let me take a sniff so I can log that new scent into my olfactory world map, I would appreciate that very much! I would really enjoy sitting next to you on the couch while you read, watch TV or just relax with me. Don't be surprised though if after we get comfortable I decide that your lap looks very inviting and I decide that I just might have to warm it up for you!

I would do best as your "one and only." I would prefer not to be with other animals nor with small, active or immature children. Older mature children who can read my body language would be fine.
