BEAUTIFUL, QUIET GIRL WAITS FOR SPECIAL PURRSON WHO'LL ENCOURAGE HER TO BLOSSOM

Hello friends! My name is Chrissie. I'm a gorgeous, multicolored three (3) year old girl and I'm here at King Street Cats dreaming of a special purrson to call my very own to shower me with gentle affection, patience and love. 

I was wandering around by myself in the great outdoors - and I was afraid. I crossed paths with a kind samaritan who convinced me that it was safe to come inside. I wasn't sure about what I was getting into, but anything would be better than fending for myself outdoors. This is how I was introduced to KSC and welcomed into the family. My new volunteer friends have been helping me to come out of my shell and trust my surroundings more each day.

A quiet, calm home where I can be your "one and only" is my dream. I'm shy at first. I may not be sure what your intentions are. A soft, quiet voice from a calm friend who projects serenity gets me purring. This is when I start to think, "Hmmm, I might like this!" I'd like to take things slow at first, but I know you'll understand that this is simply a reflexive self-preservation reaction that I'm overcoming. 

Some cats broadcast their purrsonalities from across the room. Some kittens fly at you and climb you like a tree. I'm like not like that, and I don't have any intentions of climbing you like a tree (phew!). I'm not flashy and I don't sizzle. I'm about something more subtle and precious.

I'm one of these special cats who's going to fit together with my purrson like a puzzle piece. It's hard to tell when this is going to happen because most people will meet me during somewhat noisy adoption events that are bustling with energy. It might take a bit longer to get to know me, but I am worth it!

I know there is that someone out there - someone for me. With this special someone I will relax, feel safe, understand trust and set aside my shyness and reservations. I'll blossom into a loyal companion like none other. We'll understand each other and know that even though we may not be the likeliest pair, we have a bond that will change both of our lives. 

I have short, plush fur with a tortoiseshell pattern over my body. My face is a stunning complement to this: honey-colored cheeks and forehead with a spice-colored little cap, deep green eyes and a salmon-pink nose with a snowy white blaze. You won't see another like me!

As I said, I'm three (3) years old, which is the perfect adoption age: I'm young and yet past the chaotic kitten stage. I really don't plan to climb you like a tree! 

Please come to meet me. Let's see if we're meant for each other. In the meantime I will continue to make progress coming out of my shell and sharing my gentle personality with the world with the help of my King Street Cats friends.
