SHY BOY LOVES KITTY FRIENDS AND ROLLS OVER FOR BELLY RUBS

Hello friends! My name is Spock. I am a strikingly handsome young boy. What a great time to bring me home as your new best friend.

I was found outside feeding with some feral cats. The person who was feeding us noticed that I wasn't like the other ferals - I'm a shy, sweet boy and I wanted human attention and affection. I wasn't quite sure how to ask for it, but my kind samaritan could tell what I wanted from my body language and demeanor - and introduced me to King Street Cats!

I am a soft, short-haired, plush young boy with silvery fur awash with charcaol stripes and swirls. I have a stunning little round face highlighted by bright, vibrant golden eyes.

I'm a shy boy but I'm coming out of my shell. I love gentle, soft-spoken people who approach me calmly and offer me a hand to sniff. Once I know you've got only the best intentions, I will lean into your hand for a nice head rub - and once I start purring about that, I may even flop and roll over to give you access to my warm, silky tummy for a belly rub.

I'm just one (1) year old so I'm young and playful.  I'm here with so many feline friends and I love them! I would be so happy to go home with another furry friend and playmate from KSC. Please consider asking my KSC friends to introduce you to one of my deserving little friends here.  If you have a friendly, accepting cat at home who won't feel threatened by my presence or react aggressively, that would be nice too!

I learn a lot about trusting and enjoying human interaction from my feline friends. Same-species companionship has many benefits from young, amenable cats like me: with a feline friend I can exercise, play, learn the limits of good behavior (if I nip, I will get nipped back!), groom, snuggle, explore and feel more secure.
