OUR SHY GIRL WILL BLOSSOM WITH YOUR PATIENCE AND LOVE
Hello friends! My name is Klondike. I was found wandering by myself and trying to survive on a big construction site during the first year of my life. Talk about scary! A kind Samaritan introduced me to King Street Cats where I am now safe, enjoying the delicious and steady food supply, and learning from my wonderful volunteer friends about how good it is to be loved.
I've got my whole life ahead of me and I'm eager to learn and grow confident. I lived in constant fear on the construction site - it was a dangerous place with loud noises. I am a very quiet girl, so you can imagine how stressful my days were.
My friends here at KSC tell me that they have fans reading about me who understand that the most loving and rewarding kitties may not "show" the best at busy adoption events, and that it takes time to unwind, relax and let go of fear. Best of all, they tell me that KSC fans know that the most rewarding relationships are built slowly on a foundation of security, patience and gentleness.
I am dreaming of finding a quiet home with a soft-spoken patient purrson (or purrsons) who will allow me to slowly explore my surroundings, protect me from sudden movements and loud noises, and reward me each time I attempt something brave so that I know I'm on the right track.
I can't tell you how much my life has changed for the better and I want to keep the momentum going. If you would like a quiet, grateful young friend in whose life you would make all the difference in the world, then let's meet.
It's easy to get started: please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and ask for me, Klondike.
I appreciate your consideration immensely and I can't wait to have a home of my own.
