BEAUTIFUL BABY GIRL AND BOY BEST FRIENDS AWAIT YOUR LOVING ENCOURAGEMENT Hello friends! My name is Stoney. I'm a tiny girl here with my best friend Scone. I'm gorgeous and he is stunning – we make a beautiful pair! We were both born in Fall 2018. We are lucky to be here given the shaky starts we each had in life. Our troubles are over now that we're members of the King Street Cats family because we know this is where cats and kittens find the most loving forever homes. We're both small now, but we were even tinier and at our most vulnerable when we were brought to a shelter in Baltimore. I arrived with a sibling who was quickly adopted. I was so scared being by myself, but my instincts told me to trust the kind staff and I came to enjoy head rubs and petting. Scone was abandoned in a building where an animal control officer heard his tiny cries for help. Scone had the instinct to trust this person so he let the officer pick him up and carry him to his new life. Something wonderful happened when we arrived at KSC – we found each other! We are now best friends who need to be adopted together into the same loving home. If you have never adopted two kittens, you are in for one of life happiest surprises! Adopting two kittens together – especially a bonded pair like us – provides essential same-species companionship that contributes to our overall well-being. We have each other to play, run, explore, groom, nap and relax with. We teach each other the bounds of acceptable kitty behavior. We provide each other with security and comfort when you cannot be with us. We bring you twice the entertainment, affection and gratitude! We are still shy – and you can understand why. We were trying to make sense of a very big, loud world without the protection and mentoring of a mother cat from our very early kitten days. We have both learned that our kind friends are trustworthy and that their gentle, quiet approach brings comfort and encouragement. We're looking for more of the same in a forever home. We'd love a purrson (or purrsons) who understand that we may need a quiet and safe space at first, and that we'll begin branching out to explore our new domain as soon as we realize that we're "home." Quiet voices and soft encouragement go a long way with us! We become more affectionate and trusting by the day, but we still appreciate knowing that you understand how we may be timid at times. Not to worry – our KSC friends see our progress and they know what wonderful companions we're going to be. Scone is a snowy white ball of cute! He has silky medium length fur with a stylish charcoal blaze on one side of his face. He has bright green eyes and a pastel pink nose. Everyone says I have the sweetest face in the whole world with the biggest soulful green eyes. I have short, plush fur in a silver with cream colored tabby stripes.
