Complete An Adoption Application

Hi my name is Clem. When we were just a few months old, my best friend Missy and I were found in an unheated storage container with almost a dozen other cats. We were brought to a big city shelter which was very scary for us. It was very noisy and had a lot of barking dogs. Lucky for us King Street Cats came to our rescue. We spent quite a bit of time in a fabulous foster home where we started to learn that people are not all bad. Our foster mom and dad had a lot of patience with us, which is just what we needed. It was quite rocky at first but we really grew to like our foster mom and dad. We would greet them at the door when they came home, we slept in the room with them and tried to supervise when it was time for them to feed us. We came a really long way as we used to hiss and hide all the time. 

Now we are at KSC and I will admit it was pretty rocky at first. We sort of had to start all over again getting used to all new people. It was a bit scary and we were back to hissing a lot. But with patience from all the volunteers and our foster mom visiting us almost every day to hold us and assure us all would be fine, we have turned a corner and gotten much better. I really like food and will sometimes tap the leg of the volunteer getting our food ready to make sure they don’t forget to feed me!  And when they  give me some extra special food, I will reward them with pets to my head. 

Missy and I definitely need to be adopted together as we have been through so much already. We give each other confidence to face the big world and learn to trust people. We need to be in a quiet home where we will be given plenty of time to acclimate and become the loving kitties we know we can be with lots of love and patience.
