Domestic Long Hair (long coat) : : Female : : Senior
CURRENTLY IN FOSTER
Hello there! My name’s Violet and I’d love to meet you. I’m a senior lady with the softest black and white fur you have ever felt. I have short legs and a long belly, so I look a little like the cat version of a dachshund. I have gorgeous yellow eyes, and I know how to use them to put my foster under a spell so she’ll pet me and feed me treats when I want!
I was adopted many years ago from King Street Cats. Recently my family returned me because they were no longer able to take care of me. I didn’t do anything wrong, and I was really sad for a long time. But now that I’m at my foster mom’s, I know that I’m going to be just fine and if I’m really lucky someone (maybe you!) will find a place in their heart for me and I will have a wonderful furrever home.
I love when my foster mom pets me, although sometimes she stops before I’m done and then I have to reach out with my paw and gently grab her hand to let her know she should keep going. I’m easy going and quiet, but observant. I enjoy watching TV with my foster mom on the couch, and if she’s doing something different than normal I’ll check up on her to make sure she’s not messing anything up. Occasionally I’ll offer my opinion (that’s what I was doing in the picture with my mouth open!), but I try to let her learn on her own. If you’re wondering why I have no teeth it’s because I had a serious dental infection earlier in life and had almost all of my teeth pulled. But that doesn’t impact me in any way, and in fact my favorite food is any kind of hard and crunchy treat.
I get along with other cats fine, although I did have to teach the foster kittens some manners when they first got here. But now that they’re older and more respectful we get along just fine. The other senior cats here are laid back too, and we respect each other’s space. Even though everyone’s really nice, I would love to be in a home with just me and one or two other cats. Trust me, I’m fabulous enough to keep you entertained full time! If you’re looking for a quiet, calm cat to either be the center of your attention or as a companion to your current cat, then we may be perfect for each other.
Please email contact@kingstreetcats.org if you would like to meet me. I know you will instantly fall in love! |
