Complete An Adoption Application

Hi there! I’m Floyd, a loving, curious, and rascally (in a good way) kitten.  I have really cool pale green eyes that often look like the gray in my coat, and they’re highlighted by my long white eyelashes with black tips. I was found outside in WV with my mom, Jasmin, and my three siblings, Jethro, Tull, and Pink.  We were taken in by a local rescue before landing at our KSC foster mom’s home.  My siblings and I love to play – if you whip a feather wand around we’ll all come running because we love playtime with mom.  We also chase jingle balls, throw catnip mice around, wrestle with each other, and in general just have lots of fun together.  We have a cool cat Uncle who’s really tolerant with us and lets us play with his tail, and then a tough disciplinarian cat Aunt who has taught us that not everyone is as cool as our Uncle!  So while we may be rambunctious kittens, we know how to respect and get along with other cats.  We were around a dog when we were just babies, about 5 weeks old, so while we haven’t seen any recently we know what dogs are and we will apply our Aunt’s etiquette lessons.

As for me, I do everything with enthusiasm. I love to play with toys, run up and down the stairs, chase my tail, and see what everyone else is doing.  I think my foster mom is absolutely fascinating so I follow her around and observe everything she does. Watching her make dinner is one of my favorite things.  I have a perch I sit on so I can see everything and make sure she doesn’t miss any steps in the recipe. When it’s nap time, I’m very affectionate and will snuggle up next to my foster mom whenever I can. I love to stretch out, and sometimes I’ll fall asleep on my back in full stretch (see embarrassing photo).  I really like belly rubs, and if you catch me when I’m waking up from a nap I’ll give you a full stretch so you can pet my whole belly.  At night I like to get under the sheets and make sure there aren’t any hidden monsters before settling down on top of the sheets next to her with my family. I’ve included a baby picture of me and Pink (black/white) when we fell asleep leaning against each other, another picture that shows off my eyes (but they’re much more impressive in real life), me hanging with my brother Jethro (tabby) while he’s trying to sleep, and one of me on the top post of the cat tree.  If you’re wondering why there aren’t any action photos, it’s because I’m moving so fast my foster mom can’t get a clear picture.
