HELLO!  I am Coconut.  I’m a petite short-haired gray boy with a cute little smile and a BIG purrsonality.  I was born at a county shelter with my brother Bamboo. Lucky for us King Street Cats decided to rescue the three is us. Bamboo and I stayed with our birth-mama until We were ready to meet other kittens our age.  For the past few months, I’ve been living at my foster mom’s place, hanging out with my brother Bamboo and our four foster siblings.  The six of us are quite the pack, running around the whole house, getting into everything and terrorizing the resident adult cats.  You should see it!  But enough about that, you’re here to hear about me, right??  Ok, so as I said, I have super soft and find short gray fur, kind of like those pedigreed cats Russian Blue, heard of those?  Well I don’t have official papers, but I think I could win any old cat show for sure.  In fact even though I’m smaller than my brother Bamboo, I’m definitely the leader of our twosome, always the first to check out new things or meet new people, and the brains of our operation when it comes to how to get something off a counter or scale a new piece of furniture.  I’m quite the talker, I have a whole repertoire of trills and meows that you will quickly learn to interpret.  I’m not loud or obnoxious though!  Don’t worry, mostly I just walk around making a cute little purring noise that you can hear long before you see me coming.  See I just can’t help doing that because I’m such a happy little guy and always entertained by everything that’s going on around me.  My foster dad laughs at me because I always look like I’m walking on my tip toes, and as soon as I see you I arch my cute little back right up so you’ll give me pets.  It usually works too, because I’m just so cute no one can resist touching me.  And that’s great because I love the attention!!  To be honest I’m not that wild about being picked up.  I’m too much of a free spirit, but I love sitting in your lap as long as its my idea!  I’m sure you can understand that.  Are you looking for a stylish little friend full of life and love?  How about two friends?  Bamboo and I really want to go to our furrever home together.  Now that would make the perfect family. If we sound like the pair for you email contact@kingstreetcats.org and ask for Coconut and Bamboo!
