BIG, BEAUTIFUL AND GENTLE YOUNG GIRL HAS MASTERED THE ART OF QUIET DEVOTION TO HER LUCKY PURRSON

Hello friends! My name is Markie. A few years ago I was adopted from King Street Cats into my forever home. I loved my purrson and all was well. Then my purrson was diagnosed with cancer. An aggressive chemotherapy regimen meant that I needed to find a new forever home. 

I was so sad! On the (very) bright side, King Street Cats welcomed me back with open paws. They promise that somewhere in their vast network of feline fans - maybe even right around the corner - is a new purrson who will see my story, come to meet me, and open their heart and home to me.

I've got my paws crossed and my tailed twirled hoping that my special human is reading this right now and making plans to take me home!

I'm four (4) years old, which is a wonderful adoption age because my personality and disposition are well established. I'm a quiet, gentle and loyal girl who adores one-on-one attention from my human. I'm not a high maintenance, in-your-face kitty but rather a constant and quiet presence with an interest in your activities and your well being. 

I'm doing alright here in the cat room with many other furry friends, but I was accustomed to being a "one and only," and that worked well for me. I'm not saying that I couldn't learn to peacefully coexist with another fur baby - I'm just explaining what I am used to. 

I'm a gorgeous girl! I'm on the large side, which means more to love. I have short, silky fur in snowy white and jet black. I'm wearing a lovely black cap with a snowy white blaze in the center of my face. In the center of that you'll find my little black button nose. I have bright green eyes that you'll love seeing when they catch the light. 

I'm looking for a loving purrson or people who would enjoy smiling each time they see me. I'll welcome you when you come home or enter the room. I want to be within range of where you are, and I'll come over for affection or to just "bunt" you (bump into you gently) with my head. That's cat-talk for "I claim you as mine because you are made of goodness."

I might be a little quiet when you meet me in the cat room because I'm not used to a lot of activity and I'm still processing all the change in my life. Rest assured, I will relax and blossom in the right home setting.
