CURRENTLY IN FOSTER
Hi there! Thanks for checking out my page!
My name is Drax, I came to King Street Cats from a big city shelter with my brother and sister after we were found by a good Samaritan. We were on our own and pretty sick. We had something called ringworm that made us really itchy but worse than that we had very, very bad eye infections. Because of the infections I had to have one eye removed. While that may seem like a pretty big deal it actually made me feel much better. The infection got better and the terrible pain from my damaged eye went away, it was a big relief!
I have been in a foster home since coming to King Street Cats and I love it. I follow my foster mom and am always asking her to pick me up for a snuggle. I love to rest my face against hers so she knows how grateful I am for all the care and love I have gotten.
They tell me I am rakishly handsome with my one eye and it must be the case because I have a girlfriend I met at my foster home. Her name is Shortcake and she is very pretty and friendly...boy can she purr. We like to have contests to see who can purr loudest! She had a tough beginning too so we understand each other really well. We want to find a home to together, we haven’t been apart in a long time and would miss each other terribly.
I like people lots. I haven’t been around dogs so not sure about them, having a “blindside” because of my missing eye might make it hard for me. Foster mom says I am so gentle I would probably be fine with children.
