Hi my name is Ruffles. I was found outside as a very young kitten along with my sister SunChip and our brother Tostito. The people that found us took us into their home but unfortunately did not give us much attention. This was the most important time for us to learn that people are good and petting is a wonderful thing! When we were about 4 months old they took us to a big city shelter. It was pretty scary for us. The shelter felt we would do better in a foster home so they asked for a rescue to take us. Lucky for us King Street Cats decided to take us. We went directly to a foster home. It was kind of scary at first but our foster mom was patient with us and gave us time to realize petting is great and so are people. We are still shy when first meeting new people so please be patient with us.
Both SunChip and I LOVE to play with toys, all toys. Trying to catch the red dot is especially fun. I really enjoy the plastic spring toys and taught myself to play fetch with one. I would bring it to my foster mom so she could throw it, then I chase it and bring it back to her for more! We both love to be petted and will roll around on the floor to get your attention. I am a bit more outgoing than my sister but we make the purrfect pair.
