Hello friends, my name is Rainbow! I'm a beautiful, bright-eyed, people-loving girl looking to bring you more happiness than a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. My people were unable to continue caring for me, so I was welcomed into the King Street Cats family. My new volunteer friends are smitten with my manners, gentle disposition and affectionate nature.

They also like to take photos of me because I am so pretty! I've got a silky, plush coat of short fur that's mostly snowy white - but I'm wearing lovely tabby markings in honey and slate tones. I have bright green expressive eyes and a perfect pink nose to nudge you with when I need some more affection from you. You'll be rewarded with my happy purrs of contentment!

I am 12 years old. Don't stop reading! Cat lovers know that a 12 year old kitty is every bit as wonderful as ever. I don't type very well (as you may have guessed!) so I have a KSC volunteer friend typing for me. My typing friend has a girl kitty who's almost my age and she says, "DON'T HESITATE!" Her kitty is as happy, healthy and loving as ever and their bond only gets deeper with time.

That's just like me! I'm a happy, healthy girl whose heart is full of love - and I can't wait to share it. I really enjoy bonding to my human so I think I'd really enjoy being a "one and only" in a quiet home, or perhaps a companion to a very mellow, non-threatening four-footed friend in a quiet home.

Guess what? I'm a lap cat! I'll want to snuggle in your lap and purr happily for you until we're both feeling completely blissful and relaxed.

I arrived at King Street Cats having previously been declawed on my front paws. This means that I'm left without my most important natural defense. Consequently, I will need YOU to protect me and make sure that I am never threatened by another animal, aggressive or unpredictable child or other person. I ask you to please always keep me safe indoors as I would be completely defenseless in the outdoors.
