Complete An Adoption Application

‘Scuse me, ‘scuse me, hey down here do you see me? I am Finch, I’ve been with King Street Cats for a while now and I wanted to say hi because, well, I just think it’s time that you all got to know me. I came from another shelter and they had gotten me from something called a hoarding house. I’m not sure exactly what that means but I can tell you it was very crowded and kind of scary, being so small it was really tough for me.

When I first got here I was pretty sick and I don’t mind telling you I didn’t have any idea what was going on. I was really scared, I hissed and hid but no matter what I did my foster mom, she just kept taking care of me. So you think that the next part of the story would be that I got better and now that I’m older I’m all grown up and I’m big and strong but that’s just not the case. Nobody quite knows what my story is but I just don’t grow much. I have had lots of tests done and I’ve passed them all. I have kind of short legs, and weigh much less than most cats my age weigh. When people see me they think, oh look at the cute kitten how old is he, four or five months? No, actually I turned 1 year old in March.

I LOVE playing with other cats though I am still a bit wary of humans...they are just so BIG. But when my foster scratches my cheeks I just about melt.

So, I guess I am ready to look for a forever family. I would love a home with another kitty or two. Would really like it if the home is kind of quiet so I don’t get too scared. I may not be your typical pretty kitty but my foster mom says that all my differences make me very special and that I will find that comfy soft-hearted someone to call my family.
