Currently in a KSC foster home.
Hello friends –
Our names are Sandy and Kandy, and we are both sisters and the very best of friends. We arrived at King Street Cats in January all the way from Sri Lanka! It was a big, tough journey for us little girls, but we are currently in a foster home where we learning to be wonderful, brave housecats. We are very bonded, talkative little girls (we hear this may be because we have some oriental short hair in us). We are pretty small and slim, but we eat well and we are some on the cleanest kitties our foster mom has ever met. We are still learning about humans, but we are growing more and more accustomed to them every day. We like our foster mom’s other cats and find them fun to play with. And we love toys! We have such fun learning about all the new cat toys in our foster home. While we still get a bit nervous when humans first approach us, we do love pets and we like to lay next to our foster mom’s legs when we watch TV together. We also like to sit with her while she works at home.
Now, let us introduce ourselves!
Hi, I am Sandy. I have more orange and grey coloring than my sister and my foster mom says I am the braver of the two! I am always the first to try new things, like leaving the foster room or letting my foster mom pick me up for a kiss on the head. I love spring toys and the ball in the tunnel. But most of all, I love my sister. She is my rock and if I cannot figure out where she wandered off to, I will call her to come back to me. And here she in now, excited to say “hi!”
Hi, I am Kandy. I have more white fur than my sister, and if you couldn’t tell, I am the shyer of the two. However, I am getting braver every day. I don’t like to be picked up yet, and it makes me nervous sometimes when people first approach me, but once I stating getting some good pets, I will purr my little heart out. I love to play with mice and spring toys, and to run through my tunnel. I also love a good sunbathing session by the window. And of course, I adore my sister; I will come running whenever she calls.
If you would like to meet us, and open you heart and home to us, we will be wonderful kittens and friends. While we know we may come off a bit nervous at first, it’s only because we’ve had some big journeys to overcome! But we love pets, warm beds and toys, and our foster mom says we are just the sweetest. We cannot wait to meet you, and to show you all the wonderful things we have to offer!
