I AM IN FOSTER CARE! My name is Gabrielle and I am about 1 year old. I arrived here on 8-20-11 from a shelter that could not keep me and my newborn kittens. We have been in foster care since then and my babies are now grown and I'm ready for my new home! My babies are: Antoine, Celine, Christophe, Etienne, Henri and Jacalyn! I am a beautifully marked brown tabby domestic short hair mix with some strong Maine Coon traits and a beautiful wedge-head. I am gentle, playful, loving and sweet little lady, and have been an amazing Mom to my babies. I may need time to adjust to new surroundings and to learn I can trust my new family. I like to be petted and held for short periods of time and the time periods are ever lengthening now that I have learned to trust my foster persons. Once I know you, I will brush up against you to let you know I love and trust you. I enjoy snuggling up next to her trusted person(s) on the couch or bed while being petted! I think it is really cool having neck rubs and gentle scratching behind my ears. I would make a perfect first cat since I don't demand an excessive amount of attention, but still give plenty of love. Recently I have shown an interest in playing with toys and even playing with my babies. I love to watch out the window. I would do well as a single cat in a home or with another adult or kitten.
