Hello! I am Cinnamon and I'm hoping to meet you. Here's my story:

I'm told I was born in the late spring of 2010, so I'm about 3 now. I found myself wandering the streets of Washington, D.C. when I had the luck to run into a kind lady who feeds strays. You can see where I got my name - my short, soft fur is a gorgeous cinnamon/honey color. My face is a creamy color highlighted with cinnamon markings. I have almond-shaped eyes in a deep honey gold that's outlined with lighter cream-colored fur. My little pink nose even looks like a bit of cinnamon was splashed on.

I'm a moderate kind of guy. I like people, and I like meeting new people - but I can be shy at first. Be patient with me while I get over my shyness, then help me meet other people and I'll be your guy. I'm OK with other cats and nice children. Dogs - those are a big question mark. Here at King Street Cats I love being able to climb up high and watch all the activity going on below me.

I like to approach our wonderful volunteers and make little raspy meows to let them know, "Hey! Here I am, and when you a chance, I would love some attention from you." I love to be petted, rubbed and get scratches under my chin. I will sit nearby you in my politest pose (sitting straight up, feet together in front of me, looking up at you sweetly) awaiting your affection.

Here's what I'd like you to remember: once I'm done being shy with you, I just love attention!

Please consider meeting me - you can email contact@kingstreetcats.org  I was adopted 7/18/2013!
