I was found wandering in Washington, D.C. I was hanging out with a pack of feral cats, but a kind person quickly realized that I was very different from my feral friends. You see, I love people. I'm extremely friendly, affectionate and gentle. I have a laid-back, low-key personality which resulted in some of the tougher feral cats picking on me! I am so grateful that my kind friend introduced me to King Street Cats. 

No, the tip of my ear wasn't eaten by a feral friend. When you see a cat with a "tipped ear" like this, it means that this cat (like me) was living with a feral colony, was taken by a cat welfare group to a veterinarian to be spayed/neutered, and then was returned to the colony. 

I've been at King Street Cats for a few weeks. I'm resting up and recovering my energy after having to defend myself on the street - not easy for someone with my affectionate personality. I'm full of hope because I've met other former street cats here who've blossomed into the soft, silky creatures they were meant to be with rest, good food and attention from the volunteers here. That's my plan too!

I'm already known here as the extremely friendly, easy-going guy who wants love. As you can see from my photographs, when I see a volunteer, I immediately position myself for head rubbings. Then I lean back, close my eyes, and enjoy it! I am exceptionally handsome and going to become even more so - I am a solid, smokey grey color with gorgeous green eyes. My fur is short and very soft. We all think I was born during late spring of 2010 or so, so I am about three (3) years young and looking forward to a long life of love in my forever home.
