QUIET, WELL-MANNERED YOUNG GIRL WANTS YOUR AFFECTION AND DREAMS OF BEING YOUR "ONE AND ONLY"

Hello friends! My name is Wilma, and I am a young girl seeking her forever home.  I was rescued from a high-kill shelter and am very grateful that King Street Cats stepped in to give me and my kittens the chance we deserved. Happily, all of my kittens have found their forever homes!

Now it's my turn. I'm a quiet girl and I'm very curious about humans. Here at King Street Cats I make sure to inspect my volunteer friends as soon as they arrive. I will constantly wander over to give them a rub or gentle head butt on the legs. This is my way of reminding humans that I want to be with you and I am interested in everything that you are doing. Being the quiet girl that I am, however, I don't need to be up in your face. I just want to be where you are.

If a friend is free to reach over and pet me on the head, I do like that very much and I'll keep circling round to collect some more affection. If a friend is busy with another kitty, I don't intrude. Instead, I'll keep an eye on things, continue to quietly deliver my my gentle head-butts to my friend's leg and try my hardest to make eye contact and signal with my big gold eyes that I would love some more pettting... but only when my friend has a chance. That's my quiet personality. I don't want to be rude, you know!

Today I tried something new - my volunteer friend was sitting in a chair. I hopped up on the chair next to her. I made some friendly overtures to catch her attention, and then I walked onto her lap! For my bravery I was rewarded with lots of affection and kind words, and I really enjoyed myself! 

Wait! I have an update! A little bit of time has passed since that last paragraph! I hop on my friend's lap all the time now. I wait until she's sitting quietly and then up I go. I just settle in - I'm not demanding - and enjoy the closeness in my quiet way.

I've got short, soft fur in jet black and snowy white. My face is mostly black with a cute white stripe on my nose. I have a white tuxedo and belly for you to rub, and those gold eyes for you to gaze into.  I would prefer to be your one and only kitty so that we can focus all of our love on each other!
