GENTLE, BEAUTIFUL SENIOR GIRL SEEKS FOREVER PURRSON(S) FOR QUIET FUN & COMPANIONSHIP

Hi! My name is Sweet Pea, and I know how to live up to my name!  I love to have my nose and chin rubbed and will purr and purr and purr. I could have been named “Gorgeous” and I’d live up to that too!  I’m a beautiful mix of brown tabby with white, and I have deep soulful yellow eyes.  We estimate that I am about 12 years old - but please, do not let that dissuade you from getting to me better! I have so much to offer.

I am a quiet girl, and I often go off finding a new place to take a nap.  There are other cats here at my foster mom’s house, with all sorts of personalities!  I don’t really interact with them, so if you have a quiet cat or one who will ignore me then I will be perfect in your home.

I would love to have a family where someone either works from home or there are older kids with lots of homework - because I am happiest with nice, quiet, gentle humans to keep me company.  When I hear my foster mom type on her computer, I will jump on her lap and head bop her so that she pays attention to me.

When I feel that she’s adored me sufficiently, I’ll lay down on the chair next to her and take a nap.  Although every now and again I’ll slyly strike a fun pose to get a smile out of her.  Then, if I get bored, I like to play “who has the fastest paw” and try to swipe her hand (claws in, of course!) before she can type a letter or a word.  She laughs, but probably because she usually wins.

I do have a level 3 heart murmur that you should know about.  The vets couldn’t find anything in tests and x-rays, which is good news because I have no signs of heart disease and don’t have to take any medications. I had a friend with a level 3 murmur who lived for 6 more years (to 18!!!!) and wasn’t affected by the murmur at all.

If you are a quiet, loving human who would bond with an attention-loving cat who wants to be near you, then please come meet me.  My foster mom will be happy to have you come over for a visit.  While I love my foster mom, I would be so very very very happy to have a person or family to call my own.

It's easy to arrange a meeting - just send an email to contact@kingstreetcats.org and ask for me, the sweetest Sweet Pea! Thank you.

Graciously yours,
Sweet Pea
