CHIRPY, TALKATIVE LOVE BUG TORTIE SEEKS QUIET HOME WITH HER OWN HUMAN TO CONVERSE WITH! Hello friends. My name is Ophelia. One day the morning volunteers arrived at King Street Cats to begin the day - and found three ocupied cat carriers on the doorstep! I was on one carrier. My friends Jonah and Hamlet were in the other two carriers. The carriers each had our names on them. I can't explain how we got here, but my new KSC friends can tell that I was a much-loved indoor family girl and they assure me that I am indeed the perfect companion for a lucky purrson who will come for me very soon. I love people, I adore human attention, and I have years of practice at being a loyal and faithful friend. Oh, and I am a brilliant conversationalist! I'd love a quiet home where I could keep you company and provide you with quiet companionship. Of course I do want to carry on deep and meaningful conversations with you - and I have a lovely voice with which to do so! If you come to visit me, I will chirp and talk to you and ask you to please be mine! I talk to everyone I meet to let them know what a conversationalist and people-loving girl I am. I've been to the King Street Cats veterinarian and we think I am about 11 years old as of this posting in June 2015. I'm a gorgeous tortoiseshell lady with silky dark chocolate fur that features caramel patterns. I have a little caramel-colored "bib" in the shape of a heart! I have big almond-shaped green eyes. My new friends here at KSC are impressed with my demeanor and calm personality and know that I am a truly great girl who's going to thrive and bring years of happiness to my purrson(s). You may know that torties are very loyal to their people. It's obvious that someone must have been desperate but loved me enough not to bring me to a shelter, but instead to KSC where I'm safe until my new purrson finds me and brings me home for good. My friend Jonah is a soft, plush solid silver love bug with his own biography page - please visit it before you leave! Our third friend Hamlet is a silky soft guy with jet black fur and lovely eyes. He's still shy as of this posting - it's understandable that he's trying to figure out how our lives changed completely so quickly. He's progressing every day as he gets to know our KSC friends in a quieter room here. He comes to sniff volunteers and enjoys head rubs and gentle words of encouragement. If you have a soft spot in your heart for a kitty who needs some extra time and love in order to adjust, I encourage you to ask about Hamlet. Since he arrived with us, we know he has years of experience being a family guy too. Do you - or does someone you know and respect - have a space in your heart and home for me? Torties are special and I will prove this to you. Please learn more about me by emailing contact@kingstreetcats.org. You won't regret it. Thank you.
