TINY YOUNG ISLAND GIRL IS A LOVE BUG IN TRAINING

Hello friends! My name is Bridgitte, and I'm coming to you from a shelter in St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands. King Street Cats has a tradition of helping lovable cats from the island shelter come here where our chances of adoption are much greater.

I am one very cute and tiny girl! I'm shy and quiet at first, but once I know I can trust you I open up into what my KSC friend calls "a total love." You may know (or you can ask KSC volunteers and adoptive families) that we St. Croix kitties have consistently displayed a similar set of wonderful attributes over the years. We tend to be on the small side. We love human attention, even those of us who can be shy and reserved at first. We overwhelmingly possess affectionate, interactive personalities.

As for me, I love to lie in the sun by a window. Must be my island heritage. I'd love to do this in a loving home with my own dedicated humans who will give me just a bit of time to adjust to my new surroundings. I'd like to spend time near you, watching the things you do, and offering the occasionally comment (or meow). I am two (2) years old and very much young at heart so I'd also like to explore your home and follow you when you're up to something fun and interesting. 

I am a very pretty girl with a delicate face and lovely green eyes. My fur appears black at first but you will see that like most black cats, I have a gorgeous undercoat in a warm brown tone with tabby markings - this will appear when I'm in the sun and under certain lighting conditions.
