BEAUTIFUL TABBY BOY AND HIS PLUSH, PLAYFUL BROTHER ARE BRINGING YOU BOATLOADS OF LOVE
Hello friends! I’m Lightning, coming to you with my brother Hail. We are an inseparable bonded pair and must be adopted together into the same home. We've twice as much of everything wonderful to bring to you.
My sister Thunder and my brothers Stormy, Hail and I were at a kill shelter in Maryland when King Street Cats took us into their family. We were born in mid March 2015, so we are about four (4) months old as of this post in early July 2015. We were taken in by a wonderful, loving foster family and raised to know and enjoy their children, the neighborhood kids and our friend, the family dog.
They raised us to be tolerant and loving, and we are! Our behavior is impeccable, except when sometimes- okay, often - we undertake adorable little shenanigans like wrestling blankets or climbing up chairs. Nobody can beat us for cuteness!
Hail and I love to wrestle each other. Occasionally we might like to wrestle with your hands if they're flying around in an enticing way, but you just need to remind us that hands are NOT little animated kittens. If you look at my photos, you’ll see one of my sister Thunder and me playing. That’s me there, lying on my back!
I might be so busy playing that I forget to come to you for attention and love -- but that doesn’t mean that I don’t want it! I want a lot of it and I will love you right back. Just hold me on your lap and I’ll settle right in. I love to watch TV with my foster family at night. I’ll purrrrrrr…. and then drift off to sleep in their arms.
I’m a confident kitty! I’m very comfortable around kids both young and mature. I know how to get out of reach if they start to bother me, without any dramatics. I’ve also become good friends with the family dog. She can be a bit crazy, but I’m fine with that. I know that if she steps on my paws, she can’t help it. My canine friends are all just so big and clumsy!
