FAMILY-FRIENDLY GIRL KITTEN IS A "DOWNY SOFT BUNDLE OF ENERGY" (and her bonded sister is a gorgeous "silly potato")

Hello friends! My name is Easton, and I'm a sweet baby girl and one of the six "Chesapeake kittens" born to a momma cat who was still a kitten herself. Our mom did a mighty job raising us and now she's found the forever home she deserves. I'm here with my bonded best friend and sister Galena and we're dreaming of being adopted into the same forever home together. We've charmed my wonderful foster family and they know what a treasured part of your life I'm going to become.

My foster mom calls me Enthusiastic Easton.  I am a downy soft bundle of energy - a mix of playful kitten and snuggly lap pillow.  My playfulness makes me a standout among my siblings and I would love an energetic and interactive family.  I'd do very well in a home with children and pets. I have an easy-going disposition and an affectionate, cuddly and playful personality.

I was born at the end of June 2015 so I am now approaching my six (6) month birthday at the end of the year. I am one seriously cute little love bug dressed in snowy white with black accessories. My fur is "Downy soft," short and silky. I'm mostly white with a perfect little black cap on my head and a lovely black cape draped around me. I have big round bright gold eyes that will melt your heart and a pastel pink little nose.

Let me tell you about my best friend and sister Galena. Our foster mom calls her Gorgeous Galena, the silly potato.  Please understand that initially she is very shy, but once she gets to know you she will activate her purring motor - and it has no "off" switch.  She loves good long petting sessions on a couch. She's very happy to spend hours curled up with you - or me.

She has the gorgeous look a tiny lynx or miniature mountain lion. She has a tabby coat in warm tones that range from chocolate brown to cinnamon to blond. She's got little tiny tufts at the tips of her ears and big round golden eyes. The colors in her coat are very striking. She is unique and lovely! Galena will be so happy in a home with a good scratching post for climbing and sleeping up high.  Being a silly potato, she's going to impress you with her acrobatics on the scratching post. You're going to find her  randomly dangling in awkward positions she's accidentally gotten herself in to.  She loves people and would be happy in a home with children.

I do want to stress again Galena is still a little shy and it takes time to earn her  trust - it might be difficult for her in a family with young children who don’t have the patience to allow her to come to them when she's ready.  She IS sweet as can be and she IS great with children - she just needs them to be mature enough to have patience and earn her trust.

There are benefits to both felines and humans when you adopt two or more kittens together: we'll regulate each other's behavior and reign in excessive nipping, etc., we teach each other limits, we exercise each other and tire each other out, we groom, we cuddle, we comfort and we entertain each other when you can't be with us because you're off doing the things that humans do.

Please come to meet us! It's easy to get the process started: send an email to contact@kingstreetcats.org and ask for us, Easton and Galena. Thank you.

Enthusiastically yours,
Easton (with Galena)
