Hello friends! My name is Lady Red. I was adopted from King Street Cats as a baby, which means that I will forever be a part of their family. Through no fault of my own, circumstances changed for my humans and KSC welcomed me back.

Some of the deepest connections between humans and cats occur through one-on-one bonds when the special cat is the only animal companion in the household. This will be the case with you and me. I'm a people cat, not a cat's cat. I'm looking for a home where I'll be the center of your attention and you will be the center of mine. No other four-legged friends for me - you are all that I need. 

I have a wonderful personality and I am very affectionate and loving. My volunteer friends here call me "super sweet," "a real love." and "a wonderful girl." They're proud of the girl I've become in the five years since they last saw me as a baby. I love my people, I will be very happy to see you, I want to spend time near you. I'll purr up a storm to let you know how much you mean to me.

I was born in March 2010, so I five (5) years old as of this posting in December 2015. That's a wonderful age at which to adopt a new friend because I am a young adult whose personality and traits have been developed - this allows you more knowledge about me and what our lives would be like together.

I am an absolutely beautiful girl whose name reflects my short, plush reddish tabby coat. This coloring is far more common in male cats. It's also widely associated with loyal, companionable cats to the extent that some adopters will seek out orange/red tabbies. I have the most stunning, soulful eyes in a bright, clear green. They pick up hints of gold when the lighting changes. If you could help me trim my figure a slight bit with a high-protein, low-carb diet I might appreciate that. Nothing fancy, you can obtain high-protein, low-carb diet anywhere.
