BEAUTIFUL BLUE-EYED BOY WANTS TO BE YOUR "ONE AND ONLY" SWEETHEART

Hello friends! My name is Kai. I'm a beautiful blue-eyed boy with a beautiful name. My name has many wonderful meanings, just as I have many wonderful qualities. In  Burmese, Kai can mean "strong" or "unbreakable." In Mandarin Chinese, Kai can mean "victory" and "open." In Japansese, "rest" and "recovery." My name means "ocean" or "ocean water" in Hawaiian.

I came to King Street Cats from another shelter because my KSC friends know they can help me find the forever home I deserve. I'm a four (4) year old boy as of this posting in February 2016 and that's a very nice age at which to adopt me. My personality has settled into the natural sweetness that's made me new friends here at KSC. One volunteer friend calls me "a really dear boy." I like people very much. In fact, I like them much more than I like other cats - I dream of being your "one and only" boy so that we can focus our time and attention on each other and develop a deep bond. I have somewhat of a Siamese coloring scheme and I have something of that Siamese talkativeness - I've got a distinctive little meow and I enjoy using my voice to chat with you about what's going on in the world. I'm a good listener too - I like to be near you and I'l be to hear about your day when you come home and get settled in. We'll put the "rest" and "recovery" concept that's embedded in the Japanese translation of my name to good use. 

I've got short, soft plush fur in silver and cream with what you might call a "Siamese" coloring pattern although I am not a purebred Siamese. That's just fine with me too - mixed breed cats are the best, I say! I've got the most gorgeous blue eyes - blue like the ocean, as the Hawaiian translation of my name suggests. I have a beautiful round face centered by a silver nose with little white blazes. You can't deny that I am one handsome guy. Make that one handsome Kai!
