Hello friends! My name is La Creme, which means "the cream" in French. I am a stunning little baby boy who came to King Street Cats with my best friend Fellini. We are a bonded pair of love bugs seeking our forever home together. We'll both melt in your arms and purr our way into your hearts. 

We were born in October 2015, so we are each four (4) months old as of this posting in February 2016. Although we are not biological brothers, we are best friends who've helped get comfortable in the world and we love to be together. By adopting both of us, not only will you bring twice the love into your life, but you'll be supplying each of us with a built-in kitty companion, snuggle buddy, playmate, grooming partner and behavior modification coach (we'll teach each other about the limits of acceptable feline behavior). You won't have to worry about leaving us alone when you have human activities to tend to because we'll be there for each other and ready to greet you when you come home.

Let me tell you a bit about myself. I had a rough start in life - I was found when I was very, very small with burns on my legs. KSC took me to the veterinarian to treat my burns and now you cannot tell that I ever had such an injury. It also took me a while to learn how to blink. I know that sounds strange, but for some reason my eyelids weren't working correctly and I was blinking with my third eyelid (which is called the nicitating membrane). KSC took me to a feline specialist who checked out my eyes and they are perfectly fine. I can still go quite a while without blinking, so you probably don't want to start a staring contest with me!

My best friend Fellini was found alone outside as a tiny kitten by a kind person who brought him to King Street Cats. He visited the KSC veterinarian and was given a clean bill of health. He came to live with a wonderful, experienced KSC foster mom, which is where we met each other! We had three other kittens in our foster home and we'd all play and play and play until we got all tired out, at which point we would all take long naps together in one big furry kitten heap. We miss our sister kittens but we are so happy to still have each other. 

Please understand that we are both shy at first. We'll need a patient human who understands that this shyness is just as phase and who can give us gentle encouragement and praise in a soft voice while we build out confidence. Once we learn that we can trust you, we will shower you with affection and declare our happiness with two very loud purr motors! We'll head butt you (we call that feline behavior "bunting"), we'll nuzzle you and we'll even sleep right beside you. 

One of our volunteer friends says of me, "... will melt in your arms when you hold him." 

Of Fellini, she says "... a total smoosh, a real love bug."

I am a stunning cream colored kitty with long soft fur and beauitful green eyes. Fellini is a silky medium haired kitty with shiny jet black fur and bright green eyes. We are an absolutely striking pair of handsome little lion cubs like no other you will see.
