ONE BONDED BUNDLE WITH TWO BABY GIRL LOVEBUGS!

Hello, hello, hello friends!  My name is Zelda.  I’m an amazing adorable little puff ball in black and white here with my beautiful tortoiseshell sister Zelda. We're a bonded pair who've been living with a wonderful, experienced King Street Cats foster mom who's going to miss us very much but knows you're going to fall in love with us instantly and we'll be adopted into our forever home in no time!

We were born in November 2015 so we are four (4) months old as of this posting in March 2016. When you adopt two kittens together everyone benefits - you receive twice the love and happiness and we have each other as comfort buddies, cuddle buddies, playmates, grooming mates, exercise partners, behavior modication coaches (if she nips me, I will nip her right back - then she'll know that nipping has consequences) and best friends.

I am an amazingly adorable puff ball in black and white with a wonderful, kind, loving personality.  I'm more of a traditional little girl in comparison to my sister Farra's tomboy ways. After all, I have longer fur that I need to keep groomed and I need to keep my fabulous face clean and bright.  I do know how to wrestle really well though - it's a skill I've had to master with Farra around!  I'm happiest playing chase or trying to catch the furry thing on the wand.   I'm not as exuberant as I am about food, but believe me - I know the sound of a food bowl hitting the counter and will definitely be there for meals.  I love to follow our foster mom around and see what she’s doing.  I'm always hoping there will be something new to discover, observe and conquer.I know I'll have fun exploring our new forever home.

In the evenings I like to groom my pretty little self and stretch out on our foster mom’s lap for a nap with Farra.  We often fall asleep all tangled up, but we’re warm and so happy to be together.   I love to sleep on the bed with Farra and our foster mom.   I know it’s funny, but when I'm tired I like to suckle on soft fleece because it reminds me of my feline mommy. Sometimes I become so happy and contented suckling on my fleecy blanket that I'll fall asleep with my nose down on the blanket and my paws reaching forward. It's too charming to describe here - you have to see it! I hope that our forever family will have a soft fleecy "mommy" blanket for me.

My sister Farra is a stunning little "tortie" with soft, silky fur in the classic "chocolate tortie" colors of dark brown and caramel. She has very expressive facial features and you'll love watching her react to you and to her surroundings! She's a long, lean, and fast tomboy, and you can see a hint of our distant cousin, the leopard, in her style.  She loves to start my day off with exercise.  She’ll chase her tail in the shower stall (no, it’s not wet) while our foster mom gets ready for her day.

Then, when she’s ready to feed us,Farra races downstairs, sometimes taking the steps two and three at a time.  She always slides on the hardwood floors, but she's learned to include that in her turn calculations and she holds the household kitty record for time from shower to food bowl - even if she has to jump over or slide under one of the other senior cats who live here! After a nice meal, she'll follow our foster mom as she cleans the kitty litter and changes our water.  She may jump into the freshly cleaned boxes, and if she still has a lot of energy she’ll chase her tail in the box.  Next comes wrestling time with me.

When our foster mom goes to work, we settle down on the bed or into a box or corner and curl up and sleep soundly.   In the evenings when our foster mom gets home we have a similar routine.  The big, awesome difference is that we can take a nap on our foster mom’s lap. Farra loves to stretch out and sleep on her back, and she feels so comfortable with our human there to look after us and occasionally rub her warm little belly.  At bedtime she also likes to sleep on the bed so that she knows our human is okay.  It’s a long day for a kitten, but she does love all the activity and she can’t wait to learn a new routine with our forever family.

Now please - come and meet us! We are wonderful in every way and can't wait to go home to explore, play and love you twice as much as you can imagine. It's easy to get started: send an email to contact@kingstreetcats.org and ask for us, Zelda and Farra. Thank you from the bottom of our happy little kitten hearts.

Affectionately yours,
Zelda (with Farra)
