Lady Red I wanted to just let you know that she's settled in really well. Lady Red (whom I affectionately call Koshka) seems to have adjusted already and is happy here.
Kodiak He's doing fantastic! Made himself right at home with my other two cats, too. They're all regularly grooming one another and bonding, etc. Just took this one the other day, with Hailey who is my most skittish one in the gang.
Kikiko I was a little worried at how she would act when she got to a new home but after a quick scan of my apartment, she settled herself right in. She's lit up my life with her sweet temperament and hilarious personality. She loves to jump up and meet people's hands as they bend down to pet her, she lays at the end of my bed and when my alarm goes off she runs up to me to lick my face (she loves licking people's faces strangely enough) and she runs to the door to greet me everyday when I come home. She really is a perfect cat. I'm still trying to convince her wet food is good but even when I mix it with the dry she's not having it. I'll keep trying though. She also loves to be brushed, play with toys and dash around my apartment at top speed from chairs to tables to chairs to her cat food bowl in the kitchen, leaving me laughing too hard to scold her for being on the table. I'm very happy I went to KSC and found Nora, not only because she's a great cat but also because I'm happy to have saved a life. I hope all the cats are able to find happy homes and wish I could have saved more. Thank you for all the work you do and for introducing me to Nora. I'll be sure to send more pictures and updates as she grows older.
Kaylee (bonded with Inara) They are doing well, and are such cuties! The picture doesnât do them justice, but they are settling in very nicely!
Jordy Jordy joined our family less than three weeks ago, but we can't remember life without him. Our dog, Lucy, adores him and he is tolerant of her affection, drinking water only from her bowl. He takes turns sleeping with different family members and is quick to snuggle with whoever happens to sit on the couch. His feline cousin from Indiana sent him a laser pointer to chase, so when not watching the bird feeder intensely, he's chasing that allusive red dot. Thank you so much for caring for him until we found this big sweetie." Here's another update from the family, who now live in Naples! "He and Lucy don't snuggle together but, as you can see from the photos, enjoy being near each other. We are delighted that he's a member of our family and he (generally) seems to feel the same way. He continues to be his cool self---he even likes what we call "water time," when he pulls Lucy's water bowl to the middle of the kitchen and splashes around. He's getting a little chubby, so we are talking to him about possible New Year's resolutions... A big thank you for taking care of him and suggesting that he might be a good fit for our family!"
