Opal blew in from Florida after the hurricane and is quickly settling in to her new life in Northern Virginia. This Russian Blue kitten is playful and energetic - her latest favorite trick is to play fetch with a toy mouse. She is a pro at the litter box with a 0% accident rate. Opal is fairly quiet, but will purr up a storm and meow once in a while to remind you to pay attention to her. She is curious about other cats and will happily coexist with them. She is not a lap cat; she prefers to explore her surroundings. But she will come by and rub your feet and, later, will snuggle in bed with you. Come meet Opal - she would love to play with you!
