Hello! My name is Tala, and I’m a sweet gray girl with some yellow marbling. I’m a little quiet, but if you pick me up I’ll purr and snuggle into your arms or your lap. I love to be near my foster mom, and will sleep on her lap or curled around her arm (see embarrassing picture). Like my sister Olive, I also was found after I had been hit by a car, but luckily I had no major injuries and after a few quiet days of rest I was fine. Now I take my time when exploring and trying new things; while my sister Olive will more likely leap before she looks, I’ll definitely look and analyze before I leap. We make a great team that way.
My sister, Olive, and I love to run, play, chase bugs, and wrestle (my cat wrestling name is “The Tal-inator”). We chase each other and love to look out the window at the cars, birds, and squirrels. After playing hard, we then collapse together and take a good long nap. We like to be around our foster mom – we’ll take our games into whatever room she’s in. We also like to play chase or hide-and-seek with her (don’t tell her, but we leave our tails out in sight on purpose otherwise she’d never find us!!!) At night we love to sleep with our foster mom, and I’ll sleep by her side or near her feet.
We’ve been taught cat manners by our Uncle Stitch, so we know how to get along with other cats. We met a dog once, and Olive was more outgoing and figuring out what that meant. But if she’s okay with something, then it’s not long before I’m okay with it too. So if you have a dog, we would just need you to be with us until we’re comfortable on our own.
