ONE BONDED BUNDLE WITH TWO BABY  GIRL LOVEBUGS!

Hello, hello, hello friends!  My name is Farra.  I’m a gorgeous tortoiseshell baby here with my intolerably adorable sister Zelda. We're a bonded pair who've been living with a wonderful, experienced King Street Cats foster mom who's going to miss us very much but knows you're going to fall in love with us instantly and we'll be adopted into our forever home in no time!

We were born in November 2015 so we are four (4) months old as of this posting in March 2016. When you adopt two kittens together everyone benefits - you receive twice the love and happiness and we have each other as comfort buddies, cuddle buddies, playmates, grooming mates, exercise partners, behavior modication coaches (if she nips me, I will nip her right back - then she'll know that nipping has consequences) and best friends.

I am a stunning little "tortie" with soft, silky fur in the classic "chocolate tortie" colors of dark brown and caramel. I have very expressive facial features and you'll love watching me react to you and to my surroundings! I’m a long, lean, and fast tomboy, and you can see a hint of my distant cousin, the leopard, in my style.  I love to start my day off with exercise.  I’ll chase my tail in the shower stall (no, it’s not wet) while my foster mom gets ready for her day.

Then, when she’s ready to feed us, I race downstairs, sometimes taking the steps two and three at a time.  I always slide on the hardwood floors, but I’ve learned to include that in my turn calculations and I hold the household kitty record for time from shower to food bowl - even if I have to jump over or slide under one of the other senior cats who live here! After a nice meal, I follow my foster mom as she cleans the kitty litter and changes our water.  I jump into the freshly cleaned boxes, and if I still have a lot of energy I’ll chase my tail in the box.  Next comes wrestling time with my sister Zelda.

When our foster mom goes to work, Zelda and I settle down on the bed or into a box or corner and curl up and sleep soundly.   In the evenings when our foster mom gets home I have a similar routine.  The big, awesome difference is that I can take a nap on my foster mom’s lap.   I love to stretch out and sleep on my back, and I feel so comfortable with my human there to look after me and occasionally rub my warm little belly.  At bedtime I like to sleep on the bed so that I know my human is okay.  It’s a long day for a kitten, but I do love all the activity and I can’t wait to learn a new routine with my forever family. Pleeeeeaaassseee come play with me!

My sister Zelda is an amazingly adorable puff ball in black and white with a wonderful, kind, loving personality.  She's more of a traditional little girl in comparison to my tomboy ways. After all, she has longer fur that she needs to keep groomed and she needs to keep her fabulous face clean and bright.  She does know how to wrestle really well though - it's a skill she's had to master with me around!  She's happiest playing chase or trying to catch the furry thing on the wand.   She's not as exuberant as I am about food, but believe me - she knows the sound of a food bowl hitting the counter and will definitely be there for meals.  She likes to follow our foster mom around and see what she’s doing.  Zelda is always hoping there will be something new to discover, observe and conquer. She'll love exploring our new forever home.

In the evenings Zelda likes to groom her pretty little self and stretch out on our foster mom’s lap for a nap with me.  We often fall asleep all tangled up, but we’re warm and so happy to be together.   She also loves to sleep on the bed with me and our foster mom.   I know it’s funny, but when she's tired she likes to suckle on soft fleece because it reminds her of our feline birth mommy.   Sometimes she becomes so happy and contented suckling on her fleecy blanket that she’ll fall asleep with her nose down on the blanket and her paws reaching forward. It's too charming to describe here - you have to see it! We hope that our forever family will have a soft fleecy "mommy" blanket for Zelda.

Now please - come and meet us! We are wonderful in every way and can't wait to go home to explore, play and love you twice as much as you can imagine. It's easy to get started: send an email to contact@kingstreetcats.org and ask for us, Farra and Zelda. Thank you from the bottom of our happy little kitten hearts.

Affectionately yours,
Farra (with Zelda)
