Wally

Thanks for bringing him into our lives!

Duchess

Duchess is not just settling in...she has settled in. I was planning on months of very cautious and slow-moving progress. After about 2 weeks in the small room, she moved herself into my office. Two weeks later, she began doing laps around the house while my cat and I watched TV at night. Then she found the spare bedroom and moved herself there. At that point she only stayed in her room overnight. That was more for my other cat than her. Right now she is doing her nightly zoomies up and down the stairs. She sleeps with us at night and her favorite napping place in the bay window in my room. My other cat has turned her on to the joys of tissue paper. Dutch is extremely sweet and very playful. She and my other cat are getting along very well together. Our home is a little more exciting with her and I cannot imagine it without her. I have included some pics. Thank you so much for taking good care of her and helping her find her home with us.

Nicholas (FIV+ and Positively Adoptable!)

Just wanted to send another update about Nicholas. The love bug is really coming out of his shell and has found his voice! We get snuggles, kisses, zoomies, and he just discovered the joy of chin scratches. Garfield is really warming up to him and will go out of his way to join Nicholas and I on the bed for some snuggle time. He's doing great and he's certainly fit perfectly into our lives.

Tinsel (bonded with sister Trinket)

We drove cross country in Feb 2020. They were perfect travelers. They've been well loved since adopting them in May 2014.

Kenzie

It has been about two years since I adopted my sweet baby from KSC. She was Kenzie when I met her but is now Wednesday (Nessy for short). I just wanted to let you know I love her more than anything in the whole world and give an update. I had a sweet orange and white boy named Bun when I adopted Nessy. I was originally apprehensive because he came from an abusive cat hoarding home when I adopted him several years ago. He was never aggressive but very skittish and shy. Him and Nessy immediately hit it off! They were best friends at first sight. Not even just that, but she has really brought him about of his shell. He is so much more friendly and seeks affection from us whereas before he was more partial to being around us from the safety of his cat tree and only snuggling us while we were asleep. He is a whole new cat thanks to his sister. Wednesday is obsessed with snackies (especially Meat Mates Lamb Dinner puffs and Made By Nacho treats). She is so energetic and spunky. Her favorite activity is hunting toy mice and she regularly tries to snatch our dinners from us (she took an entire baked chicken breast the other day). We are sure she is half opossum. She loves boxes and plays fetch with a stuffed mouse. She really helped when I was working from home for so long. We originally lived in an apartment, but now she has a whole 3-story house to conduct her antics.
