Michael

Thank you all so much for the love you gave Shale (formerly Michael) while he was with you. He has blended in to our family so well. We love him. He is a very loving kitty. Meets us at the door every time we return. He loves to help me get ready in the morning, jumping up on the bathroom counter and placing his paws on my shoulder to say hi. He adjusted well to his older brother, Stratus (my 12-year old cat), within 24 hours. They do have the occasional cat rodeo, but for the most part enjoy hanging out in the same room, although not together, unless it is sharing a window ledge to check out the outdoors. His favorite toy so far is a pencil, which he loves to steal from whomever is doing homework.

Mallory

Mallory is quite amazing and navigates the house just fine. Out of the 3 cats, she is the one most interested in what we are doing and has been playing with all of the cat toys and has been catching crickets in the basement.

Lulu 2014

Again please let me say that my Lulu (we love her name and keptit), the turbo tripod tortie I adopted from KSC last August, is the most amazing creature and we are beyond smitten with her. I could not love her more. My Ella (age 5 - Lulu will be 2 in August) completely accepts her and they are usually near one another. Ella's enjoyment of life has improved with Lulu (after the initial shock wore off, of course). I am thrilled to have found Lulu. She is an aerial acrobat of the highest order. Missing a paw isn't a factor in anything (except to make her more special).

Angel 2015

I re-named her Lark after her adoption, after a character from one of my favorite childhood books, and because I loved the symbolism, since larks have long been associated with new beginnings. Lark is doing spectacularly--I absolutely love her, and I couldn't ask for a better buddy. She has so much life, curiosity, and character and, despite the fact that she was nearly silent our first week together, she's become quite talkative as she has settled in and gotten comfortable! We now have long conversations--if only I could speak cat! She loves to snuggle on the couch with me while I'm working from home studying Arabic, and she has some hilarious quirks--one of which is that she is fascinated by and absolutely loves seltzer. I tried putting the seltzer in a cup with a lid and a straw, thinking that would protect my seltzer from my determined cat, however, it only took Lark two days to figure out how to operate a straw!

Lakee

They have been with our family for two months and we are all loving every minute! Lakee is as playful as ever and Trixie is so sweet and loving. We are so happy to have them as part of our family!
